Los Angeles Rams, receiver Cooper Kupp agreed to a three-year deal worth up to $48 million

Well it looks like Jared Goff will be throwing to his favorite target for a long time as the Los Angeles Rams and receiver Cooper Kupp agreed to a three-year deal worth up to $48 million Saturday.

According to ESPN, after the 27-year-old tore his ACL midway through the 2018 season he returned with a vengeance in 2019 catching 94 passes for 1,161 yards and 10 touchdowns, all of which were career-highs.

A third round pick out of Eastern Washington, Kupp’s 10 reception touchdowns trailed only the Lions’ Kenny Gollladay for the NFL-best and his 853 slot yards were the most in the NFL.

Kupp also has been exceptional in the Red-Zone ranking in the top ten in red zone receptions (33), receiving yards (233) and touchdowns (15 touchdowns).

For his career, Kupp has 2,596 receiving yards with 196 catches and 21 touchdowns in three (really two-and-half) seasons.

He will now be tied with the Rams until the 2023 season who have not been afraid to spend money signing cornerback Jalen Ramsey, defensive tackle Aaron Donald and quarterback Jared Goff to massive deals each season.
