Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn has begun having conversations about potentially trading the No. 3 pick in next week’s NFL draft. This is the first time in Quinn’s career his team is picking in the top five after spending 15 seasons in New England and five seasons in Detroit.
Many mock drafts have linked the Lions to Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah and with the heightened potential of Oregon’s Justin Herbert (quarterback) and Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa (quarterback), Detroit believes Okudah will be there at picks 5-10. Potential suitors I believe to trade up would be the Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers or Jacksonville Jaguars.
