It appears Linc Darner’s time as Green Bay-Wisconsin’s head coach has come to an end as the school announced his firing Sunday.
The Ravenna, Ohio native held the position for five seasons going (92-80) with the school’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1996--in 2016, according to ESPN.
As coach for the Phoenix, Green Bay had just one losing season in 2017. Prior to Green Bay, Darner spent nine seasons as head coach for D-II Florida Southern winning a national championship in 2015.
The 49-year-old has a career record of (384-196), according to Basketball-Reference.com.
