The Raiders have experienced the full effects of COVID-19 as two of their three offensive lineman tested positive for the deadly disease this week.
According to USA Today, fortunately as many as five players were placed on the COVID-19 reserve by head coach Jon Gruden in fear that all five lineman had contacted the virus: fortunately tests conducted today indicated no new tests and three of the five on that list have tested negative a day before Sunday’s matchup against Tom Brady and the Bucs.
One of the two players was Pro-Bowl Left Tackle Trent Brown who has been one of the best lineman in the NFL so far allowing zero sacks while protecting Derek Carr’s blindside.
Backup Kolton Miller and the revamped line will face a tough test as the Bucks are second in the league in sacks with 22 and overall have some of the best run stuffers this season.
The (3-2) Raiders welcome the (4-2) Bucs in Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon.
