Lakers clinch No. 1 seed in Western Conference for the first time since 2010

It’s been a long time coming for the Los Angeles Lakers but with their 116-108 victory over the Utah Jazz, they clinched the Western Conference for the 2020 season.


According to ESPN, with the win, the Lakers clinched the No. 1 seed for the first since 2010. The last time they clinched the No. 1 seed they won the NBA championship with then, Laker legend Kobe Bryant.


As for the game, Los Angeles forward Anthony Davis was exceptional last night putting up a dominating double-double with 42-points, 12-boards, 4-assists and three steals on the evening.


Lakers forward Lebron James made his presence felt by flirting with a triple double with 22-points, 9-assists and 8-boards holding off Jazz star Donovan Mitchell’s 33-points in the dub.


Los Angeles is 2-1 in the three games played within the NBA bubble.
