One of the best Midwest rivalries will be renewed as Kansas Missouri have agreed to a four-game series beginning in 2025. The Border Showdown rivalry is currently the fourth-longest in the FBS, according to KansasAthletics.com
The location of the games will alternate each season starting Sept. 6 2025 in Columbia. This will be the teams first meeting since 2011.
In that last meeting of the Border Showdown on Nov. 26, 2011, Mizzou defeated the Jayhawks 24-10 at Arrowhead stadium.
Following the game in Columbia, the Tigers will take on the Jayhawks on Sept. 12 2026 then jumpstart to 2031 when the two will meet in Columbia once more on Sept. 6 then back to Lawrence on Sept. 12 in 2032.
Missouri leads the series 56-55-9 over Kansas since beginning the rivalry, according to ESPN.
