KC Chiefs Patrick Mahomes to give commencement speech for Texas Tech graduation

Texas Tech’s biggest star of the decade will take center stage when the Super Bowl Champion/MVP takes on his next challenge: being the next Red Raiders commencement speaker.

Tech is planning a virtual graduation ceremony that will be live-streamed on May 23rd, according to ESPN. Mahomes and two other students receiving their degrees will speak to the graduates.

The ketchup king was the Red Raiders quarterback from 2014-16 throwing totaling 12,097 yards and 115 touchdowns, according to Pro-Football Reference.
