It's ring season for the Kansas City Chiefs who received their Championship rings at Arrowhead Stadium last night.
The Chiefs won the Super Bowl Championship over the San Francisco 49ers overcoming a double-digit deficit to win 31-20 in a huge fourth quarter.
And coming back was pretty much the summary of Kansas City’s postseason overcoming a 24-point deficit to beat the Houston Texans in the quarterfinals and 10-point hole against the Tennessee Titans in the conference championship both of which they would win convincingly.
The specs of the bling includes: a total of over 225 diamonds and 14 Rubies which highlight the iconic Chiefs arrowhead, their two franchise Super Bowl Championships, the years of said championships, the players name and number, the record decibel rating making Arrowhead the loudest stadium in North America, the Chiefs Kingdom traditional slogan, the Super Bowl information, the player signature and the 2020 postseason scores and opponents on the inside of the ring. It is, biasedly, my favorite championship ring and just quite a spectacle.
The night wasn’t done for Patrick Mahomes as he then followed his Championship ring up to proposing to long-time girlfriend Brittany Matthews. The duo are high school sweetheart so the move was quite a sweet finish to an already fantastic two years for this Championship franchise and franchise changing player.
