ESPN is shaking up their Monday Night Football lineup as Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland will not be returning to the booth according to The Athletic’s Richard Deitsch. Per reports, the sports network will promote its successors internally but no decision has been made as of yet.
This is the second lineup change in the booth in the last three years as Joe Tessitore and Jason Witten manned the booth in 2018 then it was Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland last season and now two others next season. ESPN reportedly made runs at Peyton Manning, Tony Romo and Al Michaels to no avail.
Both Tessitore and McFarland will remain in prominent roles at ESPN.
