Jazzs’ Bogdanovic to undergo season-ending wrist surgery

Chris's Corner

Utah Jazz Forward Bojan Bogdanovic’s season (once it resumed) appears to be over. The 31-year-old will undergo season-ending wrist surgery according to ESPN.

Bogdanovic will undergo surgery to repair a scapholunate ligament on his right wrist Tuesday. According to ESPN, he injured his wrist during the late part of the 2019 season and with the coronavirus suspending sports indefinitely, Bojan elected to get the surgery and have a full year to recover.

This is a huge blow to Utah if/when the NBA returns as Bogdanovic was an integral part of the Jazz offense averaging 20-points-per-game and shooting 41% from three. Before the suspension, the Jazz sat fourth in the Western Conference. Bojan recently signed a four-year, $73 million dollar deal this off-season.
