Iowa linebacker Dillon Doyle announced he is transferring to Baylor Friday.
According to ESPN, Doyle is the son of strength coach Chris Doyle who was placed on administrative leave following current/former players alleging a racial mistreating environment at the program.
Doyle announced his intent to transfer on June 9th (three days prior) to his father being put on administrative leave.
The 6-foot-3, 227-pound Doyle had 23 tackles as a redshirt sophomore with the Hawkeyes and will look to compete for a starting position with the Bears, who had one of the best defenses in the country last season.
