It looks like the Indiana Pacers have found their next man hiring Nate Bjorkgren as their next head coach Tuesday.
According to ESPN, the former Toronto Raptors associate coach agreed to a multi-year deal with the Pacers who surprisingly moved on from Nate McMillan this offseason.
Bjorkgren is a disciple of reigning NBA Coach-of-the-Year Nick Nurse and sold himself to the Pacers on his history of innovation, adaptability and of course, winning.
The 45-year-old out of Storm Lake, Iowa has been with Nurse during his two stops in the G-League another two while with the Raptors capturing a Championship with Toronto as well as in the G-League.
Bjorkgren inherits a talented squad with All-Stars forward Domantas Sabonis and guard Malcolm Brogdon as well as the talented forward T.J. Warren, skilled center Myles Turner and impending free agent Victor Oladipo.
The Pacers went 45-28 last season finishing with the fifth best record in the Eastern Conference.
