The Charlotte Hornets are getting a big boost off their bench as the team announced Monday guard Malik Monk has been reinstated following his suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug program.
According to ESPN, Monk’s suspension began Feb. 26 until it was determined to be in full compliance with the program.
The Hornets are one of the NBA’s 22-team regular-season resumption in Orlando, Florida.
This season, Monk was averaging a career-high in points (10), rebounds (3), assists (2) and field-goal percentage (43%) in 21-minutes per game, according to Pro-Basketball Reference.
