Georgia keeps reloading at QB snatching a second transfer quarterback on Thursday with former USC starter JT Daniels announcing he’s joining the Bulldogs for next season via social media.
The dogs lost Jake Fromm to the NFL but gained two potential starters in Wake Forest transfer Jamie Newman and now USC transfer JT Daniels. According to ESPN, Newman is immediately eligible to play while Daniels will try to obtain a waiver for the NCAA to approve so he can compete for the starting position as well.
Daniels missed all but one game last season because of a knee injury but enters as a redshirt sophomore with three years of eligibility.
According to Pro-Football Reference, Daniels has a career 2,887 passing yards with 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 12 games with the Trojans.
