Well it looks like ABC has found its next bachelor. Former Wake Forest wide receiver Matt James will be the next star for the hit tv reality series.
He’ll be the first black man to star in the role in the show's long history.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Raleigh, North Carolina native played for the Demon Deacons from 2011-14 appeared in 23 games hauling in 458 yards for 48 receptions.
Former teammate, Tyler Cameron played quarterback at Wake Forest and was runner-up on “The Bachelorette,” a season ago according to ESPN.
The Bachelor will be heading into their 25th season and the next season will air in 2021.
