Former USC quarterback J.T. Daniels announced via Twitter he has received a waiver to play immediately for Georgia this Fall.
According to ESPN, the former Trojan has three years of eligibility left after suffering a knee injury in USC’s 2019 season opener.
As a true freshman, Daniels passed for 2,672 yards with 14 touchdowns to 10 interceptions in 2018.
He is expected with fellow transferee Jamie Newman of Wake Forest for the Bulldogs starting position.
