Well it looks like Luke Hill will not be attending the University of Oregon in Eugene this Fall and for good reason. The 18-year-old cornerback was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, felony assault and numerous other charges by the Maryland Police.

According to ESPN, Hill allegedly fired a gun multiple times at a car on Monday. Hill’s intended target was Rhode Island basketball signee Ishmael Leggett who was standing in front of his home and thankfully not hurt during the incident.

The native of Temple Hills, Maryland, is being held without bond in Prince George’s County, according to police records. He was the No. 151 recruit (No. 12th cornerback) in the ESPN 300 and received offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Penn State and a slew of others.

Both Hill and Leggett were formerly classmates of St. John’s College High School in Washington D.C.
