In a strange world for sports, the annual ESPY’s is still scheduled but this time it will be done from the comfort of every athlete’s home.
For the first time in ESPY history, the show will depart from its 5,000 audience and sports-focus to a show celebrating heroism and humanitarian aid, according to Boston.com.
The show will be hosted by Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, soccer star Megan Rapinoe and three-time WNBA star Sue Bird to stream the two-hour broadcast airing June 21st on ESPN.
The three will reside in the Seattle area according to reports.
