The Denver Broncos took a major blow to their offense as quarterback Drew Lock will miss the three to five weeks with a severe shoulder strain with a 26-21 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday.
According to ESPN, star wide receiver Courtland Sutton will miss the rest of the 2020 season after suffering a torn ACL in the same game.
Backup rookie selection Jerry Juedy and quarterback Jeff Driskel will be asked to step up as Denver takes on Tom Brady and the Bucs in Mile High this coming week.
Lock and Sutton join star linebacker Von Miller and running back Phillip Lindsay as the Broncos best players all sidelined with significant injuries and it’s just kind of sad looking at a team that most media and myself were thinking could sneak into the playoffs if Lock and the offense progressed and the defense returned healthy, not so much anymore.
