After a long journey, Deion Sanders announced Tuesday he will be leaving the NFL Network.
According to Yahoo Sports, the 53-year-old Hall-of-Famer contract expired this week and after reportedly agreeing to a new deal he later decided to exit the network after 14 years.
Prime was one of the longest-tenured employees starting in 2006 after playing 14 seasons in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys and Washington/Baltimore Ravens.
As for Sanders' future, he has flirted with the idea of coaching or working for another t.v. network so it is certainly a wait-and-see decision for one of the NFL’s greatest players of all time.
