Another off-season, another surgery for the Unicorn.
Dallas Mavericks Center Kristaps Porzingis underwent knee surgery Friday.
According to ESPN, the fourth-year starter underwent surgery to repair lateral meniscus injury suffered during the 2020 NBA playoffs in the bubble.
Sources have reported there is no timetable to be cleared for basketball activities but he will begin rehabilitation immediately.
The 25-year-old suffered the injury in game one of the Western Conference quarterfinals against the Los Angeles Clippers playing just two more games before ultimately missing the rest of the eventual series loss.
In his first season as a Mav, Porzingis averaged 20-points and 9-rebounds while shooting 35 from three in 57 games played.
