Kindness is still a reality in the 2020 calendar year, a rarity, but Mavericks owner Mark Cuban demonstrated just that attempting to help homeless former NBA player Delonte West
According to ESPN, Cuban reportedly picked up West at a Dallas gas station and offered to pay for his drug rehabilitation treatment that his friends and family wanted him to utilize for so long.
Cuban is one of several people in the NBA in recent years that have attempted to help West get his life on track despite his battle with bipolar disorder and drug addiction.
The 37-year-old West averaged 9.7-points and 3.6-assists over eight NBA seasons while playing for four NBA franchises.
