The Dallas Mavericks are taking a hit to their starting lineup as forward Kristaps Porzingis will rest the rest of the series versus the Clippers with a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee.
According to ESPN, the unicorn is considering a surgery to repair the meniscus as a possibility but the Mavs’ staff will continue to evaluate how his knee responds to certain treatments.
Porzingis will continue to do basketball activities and hold out hope for a return should the Mavs upset the Clippers but if Los Angeles goes on to win this series the unicorn will likely undergo season-ending surgery.
