Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott to mis 4-6 months after suffering ankle fracture

Chris's Corner

It’s been a tough year for Dak Prescott. The Cowboys quarterback lost his beloved brother this offseason and Sunday fractured his ankle ending his season after just four games

According to ESPN, Dallas’s star QB suffered the gruesome ankle injury in the third quarter leading him to being carted off the field in tears. Even your greatest enemy you wouldn’t wish this type of injury to be bestowed upon.

The fifth-year quarterback was immediately rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to avoid infection for a compound fracture that will sideline him for four-to-six months.

Prescott received an outpouring of love support and care from players, coaches and the entire country.

The fourth-rounder out of Mississippi State is in a contract-year which thanks to this injury could jeopardize Prescott’s chances toward a long-term deal.

Dak, if proven anything, has been a winner for the Boys compiling 42-27 record (third-most among active quarterbacks) completing 66% completion percentage, throwing for 17,634 yards with 106 touchdowns to just 40 interceptions.

Let’s hope he had a speedy healthy recovery and comes back stronger than ever.
