The Dallas Cowboys defensive line took a big hit as Gerald McCoy will miss the 2020 season after rupturing his quad tendon Monday.
According to ESPN, during the first padded practice of training camp the 32-year-old hurt himself during individual drills and was unable to put any weight because of it.
This makes the Everson Griffin signing all the more important as Dallas will trade one defensive lineman in for another.
This is a big blow for Dallas as the six-time Pro-Bowler has 86 career tackles for loss and 59.5 sacks in ten seasons in the NFL.
