D-Back's Starling Marte's wife tragically passes

Onto tragic news, Center Fielder Starling Marte announced Monday that his wife, Noelia, has passed away. The Arizona D-Backs CF stated on social media that she had passed from a heart attack.

The 31-year-old spent his first eight seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates and is known for his incredible fielding skills along with timely hitting earning 2 Gold Gloves and averaging a .295 batting average.

The Pirates classily extended their grievances via social media extending their condolences.
