Colorado State has found themselves in hot water as the University announced Tuesday they will be launching an “immediate and objective,” investigation into their athletic department following some appalling accusations.
According to ESPN, Rams coaches, players and sports medicine staff at the University told ESPN that athletic department leaders are discouraging athletes to test for the virus, failing to provide accurate information as well as ignoring guidelines to quarantine athletes who might've been exposed.
Conflicting information was voiced by players saying these accusations are false whereas athletic director Joe Parker supported the decision, “welcoming the investigation.”
Joyce McConnell, the school president told ESPN, “CSU has absolutely no tolerance for putting the health and safety of the athletes at risk.”
