Cleveland Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. out for the season after tearing ACL

Chris's Corner

Sad news in the National Football League as Browns superstar receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL Sunday.

According to ESPN, 27-year-old Beckham was injured on the Browns’ second snap while attempting to chase down a Cincinnati Bengals defender following a Baker Mayfield interception.

The seventh-year receiver out of LSU has never really been configured into Cleveland’s offense since joining them last season but has compiled 1,354 yards with seven touchdowns in 23 games.

Granted, he has been injured with hip and ankle injuries through the last season-and-a-half but still has flashed superstar potential when involved hauling 319 yards off 23 catches with three touchdowns as well as rushing three times for 72 yards and another score through seven games this season.
