The Bengals lost in two ways last night on Thursday night football as they fell 35-30 against the Cleveland Browns and they lost tight end C.J. Uzomah for the season with a torn achilles.
According to NFL.com, the 27-year-old looked to be the number one tight end for the Bengals offense and up to that point had some real chemistry with rookie quarterback Joe Burrow hauling in 11 receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown in a game and a three quarters.
He was carted off the field in the fourth and with Uzomah’s absence #WhoDey can expect a lot more of tight end Drew Sample and Cethan Carter moving forward.
