The Chiefs made an important move Sunday replenishing their offensive line announcing the signing of Kelechi Osemele to a one-year contract.
According to ESPN, the 31-year-old Osemele is a veteran NFL guard with eight years experience most notably with the New York Jets earning him two Pro-Bowl appearances.
With guard Laurent Duvernay Tardiff’s opt-out due to the coronavirus concerns, Kansas City was quick to add a veteran to a moving line and Osemele is a good one, notably in the run game when he was with the Oakland Raiders in 2016 and ‘17.
Osemele will join a group including veteran Mike Remmers, Andrew Wylie and Martinas Rankin for the starting position for the coming 2020-21 season.
