Kansas City has fought for the right to party after Thursday, the Chiefs and tight end Travis Kelce agree to a four-year, $57 million dollar extension.
According to NFL.com, the deal is worth up to $14 million per year and ties Kelce with superstar Patrick Mahomes for the next five seasons.
The five-time pro bowler has been one of Kansas City’s best offensive weapons in team history generating four straight seasons with at least 1,000 yards earning him two all-pro nods.
Last season, the man, myth and legend hauled in 97 catches for 1,229 yards and five touchdowns for the Super Bowl winning champs.
