The run it back tour continues for the Kansas City Chiefs as Chris Jones agreed to a four-year, $85 million deal Tuesday.
With the move, the Chiefs arguably lock up their best defender for the next four years. The move comes just a mere week after Kansas City paid star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a world-shattering 10-year, $450 million dollar deal.
According to ESPN, Kansas City returns 20 of their 22 offensive starters including the likes of Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Sammy Watkins as well as the majority of their defensive starters too with players like: Frank Clark, the Honey Badger and Charvarious Ward returning.
The Mississippi State alum has been nothing short of special since starting for the Chiefs totaling 33 sacks and forcing seven forced fumbles since being drafted in 2016.
Kansas City looks to be the favorite to repeat as Super Bowl contenders heading into this fall.
