The Chicago Bulls have made two front-office hires during the last few weeks. The first being, Arturas Karnisovas and the second being J.J. Polk. Karnisovas, the former Denver Nuggets General Manager will now serve as the franchise’s new Executive VP of Basketball Operations, according to ESPN. Polk, the former New Orleans Pelicans executive director of basketball administrations will now serve as an assistant general manager.
Karnisovas was instrumental in the Nuggets drastic turnaround drafting players like: All-Stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray as well as Gary Harris, Monte Morris and Michael Porter Jr. Polk was on a staff that acquired All-Star Brandon Ingram, J.J. Reddick, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and drafted the No. 1 pick, Duke phenom, Zion Williamson. Karnisovas and Polk are now part of a Bulls organization looking to rebuild their culture, brand and team from the inside out.
