The Bears suffered a big blow in their secondary as cornerback Artie Burns tore his ACL this week.
According to 247sports, during Tuesday’s full pads practice at Halas Hall Burns suffered a left knee injury forcing him to leave practice and not return.
It was then found that the former first-round pick tore his ACL and now his 2020 season is over.
The former Pittsburgh Steeler was projected to be a Bears starter alongside Kyle Fuller now the onus will shift towards second-round pick Jaylon Johnson out of Utah to fill the void that Prince Amukamara left in free agency.
