The Buffalo Bills kept the most important piece of their defense agreeing to a four-year, $70 million dollar extension with cornerback Tre’Davious White Saturday.
According to Bleacher Report, the deal includes $55 million in guaranteed money with a team option in 2021.
Buffalo selected White with the 27th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft putting together solid seasons in both 2017 and 2018.
In 2019, White he broke out with 58 total tackles and tied for first in the NFL with six interceptions making him widely renowned as a top tier cornerback in the entire league.
White’s stellar play along with the progression of quarterback Josh Allen helped Buffalo to a 10-6 record and their first playoff appearance since 2017.
This year, the Buffalo Bills are projected to win the AFC East the coming season and if they do so, it would be the first time since 1995.
