Melvin Gordon found himself in some hot water Tuesday as the Broncos running back was cited for driving under the influence and could now face league discipline.
According to ESPN, police records show Gordon was also ticketed for speeding, between 25-39 over the speed limit in downtown Denver.
The Sixth-year running back is scheduled for a Nov. 13 court date.
Denver said they are aware of the situation and “is in the process,” of gathering more details as necessary.
The 27-year-old Gordon will likely face league discipline as well as former Broncos safety Kareem Jackson was suspended two games a season ago after a September DUI arrest.
Gordon currently leads the Orange crush in carries (65), rushing yards (281) and rushing touchdowns (3).
