Great news for college football fans as the Big Ten is expected to announce a return of their conference football season the weekend of October 24th.
According to ESPN, each team will attempt to play eight games in eight weeks with the last game being the Big Ten Championship game on Dec. 19th.
Conference will begin COVID-19 testing Sept. 30th on all 14 campuses and if a player tests positive for the virus they will then have to wait at least 21 days to return to competition.
The conference will join six FBS conferences including the ACC, Big 12 and SEC in playing college football during the Fall season.
Six Big Ten teams appeared in the AP Top 25 most notably No. 2 Ohio State and No. 7 Penn State and every athletic director of each team will make announcements regarding student attendance and further coronavirus protocols.
