Longtime quarterback Andy Dalton has been released by the Cincinnati Bengals after nine seasons.
Dalton started 133 games for the Bengals going (70-61-2) and reaching the playoffs five times in his nine years of starting. The 32-year-old was set to earn $17.7 million in his final season of a six-year contract, according to ESPN.
The former TCU Horned Frog has completed a career 62% of his passes for 204 touchdowns-to-just 118 interceptions and a 87.5 QB rating, according to Pro-Football Reference. His biggest suitors will likely be the Jaguars and Patriots this off-season.
