The Bengals suffered a big blow in the secondary as cornerback Trae Waynes suffered a torn pectoral muscle during Monday’s practice.
According to ESPN, Waynes signed a three-year contract worth $42 million during the offseason and now could be sidelined up to two-to-three months.
The former first round pick in the 2015 NFL draft spent his first five seasons with the Vikings playing well recording a career seven interceptions and 42 passes defended largely as a nickel-corner.
