The Atlanta Falcons are staying cautious closing their facilities Thursday after one player tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to CNN, “this decision was made in consultation with the NFL and medical officials,” said the organization in a statement citing “the health and safety of the team are the highest priority.”
All activities today will be done virtually according to the team prepping for their Sunday matchup against the Vikings in Minnesota.
At 0-5 this season, the Falcons elected to fire both head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff last week and promote defensive coordinator Raheem Morris to head coach on an interim basis.
