Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban tests positive for coronavirus

Chris's Corner

Horrific news for the Alabama Crimson Tide as head coach Nick Saban has tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to ESPN, the 68-year-old Saban along with athletic director Greg Byrne both tested positive for COVID-19 despite feeling no symptoms.

This is huge news for the No. 2 Crimson Tide who have one of their biggest games of the season playing No. 3 Georgia this Saturday.

Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian will oversee preparations for the big game and is the right man for the job previously being a head coach at Washington from 2009-13 and then USC for one season (2014-15).

CDC guidelines require individuals that have positive tests must self-isolate for at least 14 days then pass a negative test to return to the team.
