Horrific news for the Alabama Crimson Tide as head coach Nick Saban has tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to ESPN, the 68-year-old Saban along with athletic director Greg Byrne both tested positive for COVID-19 despite feeling no symptoms.
This is huge news for the No. 2 Crimson Tide who have one of their biggest games of the season playing No. 3 Georgia this Saturday.
Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian will oversee preparations for the big game and is the right man for the job previously being a head coach at Washington from 2009-13 and then USC for one season (2014-15).
CDC guidelines require individuals that have positive tests must self-isolate for at least 14 days then pass a negative test to return to the team.
