49ers’ Deebo Samuel suffered broken left foot Thursday

The San Francisco 49ers suffered a tough break this off-season as star receiver Deebo Samuel suffered a broken left foot while working out with teammates in Nashville Thursday.

According to ESPN, the jones fracture Samuel suffered is a break between the base and the fifth metatarsal of the foot. He is set to have surgery this coming Thursday.

According to the 49ers, while there is no timetable for his return the feeling is he will be ready to play before the beginning of the regular season.

Samuel, of course, was a huge piece in the 49ers terrific Super Bowl run totaling 952 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns during the 2019 season.
